Lovely lighting and use of the background. Maybe a tincy bit of a fill light on the front left just to bring a tiny bit of detail into the dark areas, though that's probably just me. I like to have a bit more detail at capture that I can always pull back in post.
The fake lens flare is very distracting though, I'd love to see the shot with out it (just covering it with my hand gives the image more strength). I just don't think it's needed and they never look good anyway.. Less is more and all that.
Manitous biggest downfall was moving away from TPC+ damping trying to embrace this whole pedal platform fad. I'm glad they're sorting their stuff out. TPC+ was and is a fantastic damping system.
I used to custom tune my X-vert Supers back in the day (I say back in the day like it was a long time ago but 10 years isn't that long right?).
The compression unit was right there at the top of the fork just waiting to be played with. I even made a twin stage spring for the floating piston. I swear it made me 0.1 seconds faster :-D
It's a nice idea to get rid of that loop of cable when the post is down but it does now make what used to be the easiest part of the bike to remove some what more difficult to take out.
I hope they're not counting the Nac-nacs as whips.
Something like a nac nac should only be pulled for comedy purposes.
Nearly. Made for the man himself, Rob Roskopp but made by the legend that is Jim Phillips.
Loving these interviews. I know Will Longden is about. Any chance of grabbing him for an interview as well. He's been on the scene for a good amount of time now as well.
Such a shame that Giant still insist on putting such a short stroke shock on this bike given that it nearly has 7 inches of travel.
Are there any pictures of the X-strap system? I assume the A-strap system is the same sort of thing as on a Leatt.
